Inspiration comes in a variety of form to me. My inspiration comes from the world. In a more specific manner, it comes from the facts that are true, but are not well known, or sometimes even relevant to any part of someone’s obvious life. Things like statistics and new discoveries in science are one of my biggest inspirations. I find the effects that certain knowledge have on people to be even more interesting that the facts themselves. Reactions are what makes the world interesting.
I agree with you Reece, these are some great inspirations. I think it is important to draw inspiration from everything, and reactions from people are and have always been very interesting. Photography has captured these reactions very well through out time, and I always like coming across new photographs that have subjects showing different expressions through reaction.
ReplyDeleteReece, I'm confused. Did you mention what kind of work you do?

What's being communicated to your audience? I think examples of the kind imagery you present in your work would help make your reasoning understandable.
ReplyDeleteI would like to see what you have made or you should mention what your preferred mediums are.
